I imagine I can I run sequences in setlists live in mp3 form on this. The question is can I start,stop,reset each song if neededsongs and cue the next song with the xtempo footswitch in the live application?

I found Combiwave after using Jazler Show for several years. When I found out that Jazler was no longr supported and would not run properly on Windows 7 I looked for alternitives.
I found Combiwave and loved it and am currently using it to play commercials during sportscasting activities. However, there are several features that are lackiing:
- Hot keys limited to only 36 characters

If I play back a sample and then stop it prior to the end of the sample, there is an audible click at the start of every subsequent sample I play back. The only way to avoid this appears to be to allow every sample to play all the way to the end before triggering a new one. This basically means I have to fade out the pc output, skip the file to within a couple of seconds of the end and wait to play the next file. I've had this problem on 2 separate pc's, any idea how to stop it, as it reduces the usefulness of what would otherwise be an excellent program .

Thanks for this great gingle player, I love very rare feature such as several soundcards support, volume, fader control assignable on each slot.
A very nice feature that I have never seen from now is "finish action", allowing to chain automatically several songs.

I keep losing the names in the jingle banks,the file still plays but all the banks are blank even if i reset or delete them and add slots they don't even say empty please someone help me .

Is there a way to use a footswitch to start and stop Combiwave playback?

I'm running XP, service pack 3 and Combiwave Pro version 4.0.1.4.

I've only been able to use 36 hot-keys (10 numerals plus all the letters of the alphabet), at any given time.

If I add a 37th slot, I can program the forward slash / to be a hot-key, but it won't play the file.

Are hot keys limited to 36, or is this unique to my computer?

I had assumed I could program up to 99 hot keys using shift, alt, ctrl and/or function keys as modifiers.

I can get comibiwave to work with my echo indigo sound card. Version 3.4 works fine but anything after that there is no audio only from my onboard sound card can anyone help?

I downloaded the Beta version and it installed as an Alpha version. I am having a hard time registering my beta version (4.0.1.9 Alpha). Am I doing something wrong or is it not available to be registered until it is not a beta version any more? Any thoughts as to when it will become its own version (4.1?)?

It would seem that "bulk open" is a little broken!
If you bulk open a group of files, it will always place them in slot the first slots, even if they are already in use.

Can we choose where to insert the bulk add?
