Hi Chris
Do you think any time in the future you would add a feature to Combiwave that would allow it to mute other applications when playing a jingle,in other words using similar technology to the "indievolume" software .
I think this would be very useful because combiwave would then act like a voice-over when playing music with other media players.When you play a jingle through combiwave it would mute my music,then when jingle ends the music from (windows media player) for example would resume.

Hi David,

I did a bit of research and this seems to be more difficult to implement than it might look like.

While Vista comes with support for per-application volume control there's nothing like that on XP... So it's very unlikely for this feature to be implemented in the near future.
