A global hot key is almost the same as a hot key but can be accessed without the need to keep CombiWave on top of other open applications. In order to enable global hot keys click on "Enable Global Hotkeys" in the menu. You can start the playback of a slot by pressing CTRL-ALT and the hot key of the slot you want to play.
