You can add a slot either beneath the slot that is currently selected or after all existing slots. To insert a slot between existing slots select a certain slot and right click there. A context menu appears. Select "Insert slot" to conclude the action (1). To add a slot beneath all existing ones click the button at the bottom of the window which says "Add a slot" (2).
